Mr. Koide, CEO of Winning Entertainment, together with Mr. Yokobatake, CFO, and Mr. Hiroki, CEO of Natsume Atari, will share insights from their decades-long experience in the Japanese game industry. They will reflect on the games they have worked on, the evolution of game development, and the real-world challenges of running, scaling, and sustaining a game company. The talk will explore the importance of creating original IPs, building long-term and sustainable studios, and adapting to a rapidly changing global game market. Drawing from both creative and business perspectives, the speakers will offer practical lessons for aspiring developers and studio founders. The session will also introduce Winning Entertainment/Natsume Atariand officially announce the launch of a new Macedonian game studio, Samurai Studio, highlighting opportunities for collaboration between Japan and Macedonia. This lecture aims to inspire young developers to pursue game creation, think globally, and begin building their own original games, IPs, and studios.
